Valley-based TruWest Credit Union announced that they have promoted president and chief information officer Chris Kearney to president and chief executive officer.
This announcement and promotion follows the retirement of long-standing president and CEO Alan Althouse on Sept. 30, according to a press release. Kearney initially joined TruWest in 2012. starting out as senior vice president and chief information officer.
According to the press release, Kearney had a decade’s worth of experience in technology management within the credit union industry prior to joining TruWest. He also has a bachelor’s degree in technology and an Executive MBA from Arizona State University.
