(Buckeye Police Department)

Three teens have been arrested and a stolen gun recovered following a Buckeye police investigation, authorities said.
Just after 9 p.m. on July 24, Buckeye police responded to a report of an argument at Buckeye Town Park that escalated with three armed teen boys threatening to shoot a group of people, police said.
The suspects left the scene before officers arrived. No one was hurt.
Using footage from a park surveillance camera, police said “data from license plate readers and old-fashioned detective work” helped investigators identify and find all three teen suspects.
Detectives arrested two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old at separate Buckeye locations with the third arrest taking place on Aug. 12, according to a release from the Buckeye Police Department.
Investigators also recovered a stolen gun found at one of the suspect’s homes. The suspects were booked on multiple criminal charges, the release stated.
