Former Sun City West Cmdr. Ed Stern was unable to present to Dan Cook for 30 years of services, as he did not attend the meeting. However, Steve Tucker was honored for his 10th year of service. He spoke to reflect on the 10 years he has been involved.
“I want to acknowledge many people and Cmdr. Stern for his outstanding job of leading this organization and the executive team for all they do and work behind the scenes. It is amazing to see how they keep this organization running like they do,” Tucker said.
Tucker said members of Sun City West are an inspiration to keep coming and doing this and all the work they do. He took the roster and added up all the years the members have accumulated; members have given around 900 years to the residents and communities of Sun City West.
