A two-part class taught by Palo Verde Patchers member Carol Reinstein, pictured, was completed Nov. 21. Laura Heine patterns of their own choosing were purchased by members and the appliqué technique was likened to playing with cut-out dolls. Members selected their own color palette appliquéd to a cartoon using fusible material then quilted when completed. Also pictured are Jannelle Kluch with her rooster quilt, Debbie Walsh and sunflowers, Deb Wells and a piano, Pam Boley with almost completed flowers in a vase and Patricia Casey with Frieda the Fox. Not shown is Barbara Childs with her flamingo. Visit patchers.scwclubs.com or call Kathleen McCulloch at 248-390-0990 for more information about the Palo Verde Patchers, which will also be hosting a quilt show Feb. 24 and 25, 2024.
