Sun City club donates to Eve's Place

Posted

Members of the Zumba Club donated 986 items to Eve’s Place during it recent drive, including 200 new toys, slippers, gloves and makeup, 389 food and personal hygiene items and $335 in checks and gift cards.

The club also donated 288 items to Hearts 2 Help in Sun City; this included everything from clothing to microwaves to armchairs. Hearts 2 Help works with Eve’s Place and allows Eve’s clients to shop for all of the items they can use for free.

Eve’s Place assists with victims of domestic, sexual and teen dating abuse. These items are used to help individuals in an emergency if they must leave their homes in a hurry due to an abuse situation.

Zumba Club President Jan Taylor was thrilled with how members came through again to help people in need in the community.
