Royse Contemporary welcomes its annual “Summer Spectacular” group exhibition featuring a stable of artists and several special guest artists to celebrate the six year anniversary.

The “Summer Spectacular” will open to the public on Thursday, Aug. 3, coinciding with the Scottsdale ArtWalk. The Opening Reception is from 6 to 9 p.m., including a special artist reception with an opportunity to meet the artists, plus refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.

The “Summer Spectacular” will be on display through Sept. 17, according to a press release.

"With such a variety of work there is something for everyone and I am truly thrilled to bring this stellar work and a powerful collection for our special anniversary,” states the owner/curator, Nicole Royse, in the release. “It is my honor to work with this talented group of artists, with their captivating styles, energetic imagery and vibrant color palettes.”

Each artist offers a distinct voice, ingenuity, and accomplished resume while contributing and helping the Arizona Art community on various levels, said Royse, describing a diverse collection of original artwork in various mediums.

This exhibition features work from the stable of artists: James Angel, Angel Cabrales, Cam DeCaussin, Gennaro Garcia, Cherie Buck-Hutchison, Peter Brian Klein, Joe Ray, Marilyn Szabo, Daniel Shepherd, Fred Tieken, and Casey Wakefield. Special guest artists are: James Anthony Peters, Ron Bimrose, and Scott Wolf.

“ We would like to say thank you for supporting Royse Contemporary and local arts these past six years,” said Royse.

“We are truly honored to work with so many great artists as they grow and create such incredible works of art. We are proud to be able to work for wonderful collectors from all around the country filling their homes and offices with artworks created by Arizona artists. We are proud to be celebrating six years of Royse Contemporary and look forward to many more to come!”

Royse has worked for the arts in Arizona for more than a decade. Focused on building, showcasing, and educating the local arts community in the Valley, she founded Royse Contemporary with the belief of the importance of art and its vital role in everyday lives and community, noted the release.

Royse Contemporary is in the Scottsdale Arts District at 7077 E. Main Street, Suite 6. Hours are  6-9 p.m. on Thursday; 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday; and/or by appointment.
