I live in Youngtown and travel 111th from Peoria to Grand four times a day picking up and dropping off kids at Discover U near 113th and Michigan.
There are a lot of construction vehicles that use 111th — add the speeding vehicles, the golf carts and the extra slow drivers and it creates congestion.
Not sure anything can be done. I see a lot more cops patroling it — that helps.
There is just no other straight through route to get from Grand to Olive that doesn’t involve stop signs every block.
