Sheriff’s Office reports collisions in Fountain Hills

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is reporting it investigated four traffic collisions in recent days.
On Friday, Jan. 19, a pedestrian sustained minor injuries when they were struck by a vehicle in the intersection of El Lago Boulevard and La Montana Drive.
The vehicle clipped the pedestrian’s leg as they passed. The man was taken to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
Also, Friday, Jan. 19, an elderly motorist experienced an apparent medical episode resulting in a single vehicle crash. The driver was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure for evaluation. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
On Sunday, Jan. 21, two vehicles traveling in the same direction on Shea Boulevard near Technology Drive collided when one driver attempted to change lanes. The vehicle struck a trailer being towed by the first vehicle.
No injuries were reported. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
A minor collision was reported at Shea and Fountain Hills boulevards on Sunday, Jan. 21. There were no injuries, and both vehicles could be driven from the scene.
