Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, June 13, through Wednesday, June 19.

Thursday, June 13

*A resident of the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported that unknown subjects that commercially moved the complainant’s belongings from another state stole items during the move.

*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Indian Wells Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject used fraudulent gift cards to make purchases at a business.

*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills Boulevard and Pinto Drive for a traffic collision that occurred when a driver failed to yield from a stop sign. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed. A citation was issued.

*Deputies received a report from a business in the 13000 block of La Montana Drive that an unknown subject attempted to cash a fraudulent check at the business.

Friday, June 14

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Olympic Way where a domestic violence assault was reported. Charges were submitted to the court.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Glenbrook Blvd. reported that a subject was making threatening statements that were brought to the complainant’s attention by a third party.

Saturday, June 15

*Deputies received a report from the 15000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. that a subject made threats toward a religious institution.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive reported that a subject took an item from the victim’s vehicle without permission.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Hillcrest Drive where a domestic violence assault was reported. The suspect was booked into jail.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of El Lago Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject damaged the victim’s vehicle while it was parked outside of a residence.

Sunday, June 16

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains where it was reported that a subject was trespassed from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive where it was reported that a subject was trespassed from a residence.

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Sussex Place where a domestic violence assault was reported. The suspect was booked into jail.

*Deputies responded to Palisades Boulevard and Almont Drive where a vehicle struck a pedestrian and fled the area. Minor injuries were reported.

Monday, June 17

*A resident of the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported that an unknown subject damaged the victim’s property.

*Deputies made a traffic stop for an expired registration tag at Saguaro and El Lago boulevards. A check of records revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Palatial Drive. The driver was issued a criminal citation for criminal speed, traveling 79 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Boulder Drive reported that they felt that someone had entered their residence during the night. There was no evidence located to confirm the complaint.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive reported that a subject backed a vehicle into a front yard and peeled out causing damage to the yard.

*A resident of the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. reported that an unknown subject broke the window of a vehicle and removed items while the car was parked outside of a residence.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Monterey Drive reported a violation of a court order.

*Deputies responded to Shea and Saguaro boulevards where they contacted a subject known to have an outstanding warrant for their arrest. The subject was taken into custody based on the warrant.

*Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains where it was reported that an unknown subject attempted to steal the victim’s vehicle from a business parking lot.

Tuesday, June 18

*A resident of the 17000 block of San Marcus Drive reported that an unknown subject broke windows of two vehicles parked in front of a residence.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains reported that an unknown subject opened a credit account in the victim’s name without permission.

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Boulevard at Ledferd Lane and cited the driver for criminal speed for traveling 63 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35.

Wednesday, June 19

*A resident of the 17000 block of San Marcus Drive reported that an unknown subject broke the window of a vehicle parked in front of a residence.
