Shaw: Lesko is no Clint Hickman; vote Sandoval in November

In the aftermath of the 2020 election, a small group of Republicans in Maricopa County and elsewhere stopped Trump from becoming a dictator — they might not be able to do it again.
We must reject Debbie Lesko in November. She is no Clint Hickman.
As a registered Democrat, I voted for Clint and would do so again. He has integrity, which Ms. Lesko is sorely lacking, but faced with death threats for doing his job he is not seeking reelection.
We already know that Debbie would have refused to certify our county’s vote and instead sought to “find” the votes requested of her to overturn the will of the voters. We know this because she voted to throw out our legitimate slate of electors certified by our then GOP Gov. Doug Ducey after the insurrection.
We don’t want Maricopa County to become another Cochise County. Vote David Sandoval in November.
