This Saturday, Nov. 18, students in grades 9-12 are invited to join Arizona Science Center for Teen Tech IRL. During this all-day session, students investigate cutting-edge technology in solving real-world problems.

From education and farming to healthcare and community advancements, interactive sessions will inspire teens to tap into their creativity and critical thinking, a Science Center press release explains. During Saturday’s session, students will focus on learning the nuances of urban farming, learning from experts in the field before being tasked with the opportunity to create new, innovative ideas to better the industry.

In a pitch-style format, teens will imagine impactful technology, discovering that the limit is their own imagination and that they have the power to change the course of future history.

“Think: ‘Shark Tank’ come to life,” the press release states.

This is one session in a series with more topics and opportunities coming in 2024.
