The Dysart School Governing Board recognized four Shadow Ridge High School students as semifinalists for the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program during an Oct. 5 Dysart School Board meeting.

The semifinalists were Luke Esh, Donovan Lerma, Troi Orton and Wyatt Wilson.

Of the 1.3 million junior year high school students in the state who take the PSAT/NMSQT test each year, less than 1 % make it into the semifinal round.

Semifinalists may apply for Finalist, along with 2,500 different National Merit Scholarships.
