Trish Gore, a Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialist affiliated with the Scottsdale at 101 office of Coldwell Banker Realty, will host a holiday toy and food drive at The View Carefree, a new housing development, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy or nonperishable food item donation and have their picture taken with Santa as well as have a warm beverage and holiday cookies in the cocoa shack. Donations can be dropped off at the View Carefree, 1 Easy Street, No. 1, in Carefree. All donations will be distributed to Foothills Food Bank, Toys for Tots and Angel Trees throughout the community before Christmas Eve.

“Santa, Mrs. Claus and elves will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots with Carefree Fire Department Captain Zach Massengale, and they will also be collecting nonperishable food for the Foothills Foodbank at The View Carefree,” said Gore. “This is a great way for our community to come together for some holiday fun and support some great organizations. Plus, they’ll be able to tour this beautiful new development.”

The Big Red Carefree Fire Truck will be there for children to take a photo in with the firemen. Marines for Toys for Tots and a representative from the Foothills Foodbank will be onsite to collect the donations. Carefree Mayor John Crane will also be in attendance.
