Scottsdale Fashion Square and partners from Phoenix Chinese Week will gather to celebrate the Lunar New Year noon-2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, at 7014 E. Camelback Road.

This being the Year of the Dragon, the celebration’s culminating event will have special meaning when an enormous dragon dances its way throughout the shopping center. There will also be a series of traditional cultural performances to commemorate the start of the new year according to the phases of the moon.

Vibrant costumes and live music will lend authenticity and energy to the series of traditional Chinese dances before culminating in the dragon dance.

Attendees are also invited to pick up red envelopes at Lux Concierge Desk featuring special Lunar New Year offers from participating retailers.
