The Rotary Club of Sun City West will conduct its annual fun-filled golf and putting tournaments on Monday, Feb. 27 at Briarwood Country Club, 20800 N. 135th Ave.

“We are fortunate to have great support from our local community to help Rotary raise funds for local charities,” Dick Livengood, Rotary Club Endowment Fund of Sun City West treasurer, said. “This tournament is our club’s major fundraiser of the year. Thanks to sponsors like you, we are able to offer a fun tournament and to donate thousands of dollars to local charities that benefit from our assistance.”

Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Registration fees include lunch, dinner and monetary prize awards for first and second place teams in each flighted division. On course prizes for hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin for men and for women contests will be conducted. Cost to play is $125 per person or $500 per foursome. Registrations are available on a first come, first serve basis for the first 128 golfers.

Registration for the putting contest will be 2 p.m. with play at 2:30 p.m. Costs are $60 per person and include dinner and prize awards. For more information on the putting contest contact Sally Williamson at 623-546-9033.
Sponsorships at all levels remain available. One hundred percent of tournament funds go to charities.

To become a sponsor, call Roger Bowen at 623-546-3178 or David Van Wert at 623-214-7502. Sponsors will be promoting their business and will receive great exposure to the Northwest Valley through local news media, thorough the fun filled tournament and their name and logo displayed for a full year on the Rotary website.
