I was brought up by a Protestant mother and a Baptist father. We regularly went to church. I have had many good friends who were Catholic.
Over the many years of my lifetime, I learned that the Bible was written by many different people, each with their own personal inspiration from God. There were differences of opinion of what to include, or not to include, in the Bible.
Freedom of Religion is a cherished right in our country. The recent letter by Mr. Reilly criticizing a Presbyterian minister and Catholics, while insinuating that he knows best, is appalling to myself and many friends.
He is welcome to his own beliefs and should realize that others may believe differently. I would also suggest he look into the history of the Bible.
