R&B singer Leela James is bringing her tour to Chandler.

She will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 at Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Ave.

She arrived on the scene in 2005 with her debut album “A Change Is Gonna Come.” She received a Soul Train Award nomination for Best R&B Soul Artist and a NAACP Award nomination for Outstanding New Artist.
