Raising Cane’s opens on South Power Road in Mesa

Posted

Raising Cane’s opened March 8 off of Loop 202 Santan Freeway and Power Road. It is the third Cane’s in Mesa and 27th in Arizona.

The restaurant at 5129 S. Power Road in Mesa, kicked off its grand opening celebration with its “Lucky 20” drawing to award 20 customers ages 13 and older free Cane’s for a year, according to a release.

Twenty winners were selected at random and announced at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 dine-in customers were to also receive a free Cane’s T-shirt and free Box Combo card for their next visit.

The Mesa Chamber of Commerce joined local city officials in hosting an official ribbon-cutting ceremony starting at 9:30 a.m.

“We’re excited to continue our growth in Mesa and can’t wait to open our newest restaurant here in Arizona on Tuesday,” said Area Leader of Restaurants Tabitha Blaylock. “Our Cane’s couldn’t be in a better spot — right next to 202, three college campuses and Gateway Airport. We’re expecting to have commuters, travelers, students, faculty and, of course, local Mesa ‘Caniacs’ frequently visiting us once we open. Luckily, we’ve hired more than 100 incredible local crewmembers who are eager to serve the community.”

Mesa’s new Raising Cane’s will serve customers through its mobile app, takeout, dine-in, double drive-thru and on its patio. Open every day from 9 a.m. to midnight, Raising Cane’s will be open for lunch, dinner and late-night meals.

At Raising Cane’s, it all starts with 100% white meat chicken tenderloins that are marinated, hand-battered and cooked to order. The menu is also known for its secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
