Phoenix police arrest man as suspect in brother’s killing, victim’s remains not found

Posted

A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with his 45-year-old brother's death, Phoenix police said.

George Morgan was reported missing Nov. 12 following “repeated physical altercations” the day before with his brother, Michael Morgan, at their home near 2500 North 19th Ave., police said.

The fights ended, and neither man was seen until Michael Morgan returned to the home, but his brother did not, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.

The family reported George Morgan missing.

The department’s homicide unit took over the investigation “and eventually established probable cause to arrest Michael for being responsible for the death of George. Michael was booked on multiple charges to include murder,” according to the release.

George Morgan’s remains have not been found.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO).
