Phase 1 of Queen Creek’s Vineyard Towne Center opens Friday with Sprouts

Posted

The first phase of the Vineyard Towne Center in Queen Creek will open on Friday, in conjunction with the opening of the town’s new Sprouts Farmers Market.

Vestar, the owner and developer of the Vineyard Towne Center, announced the opening. The 23-acre, 2,60,000-square-foot center center will offer a mix of shops, services and restaurants over two phases, according to a press release from Vestar. The center is located at the northwest corner of Gantzel and Combs roads.

Sprouts, which will be opened to shoppers starting at 7 a.m. Friday, is an anchor tenant at Vineyard Towne Center and is launching the opening of phase 1. Phase 2 will be anchored by Target, which is set to open in April 2025, according to the release.

The new Sprouts is located at 37666 N. Gantzel Road. The first Sprouts in Queen Creek is at 21186 S. Ellsworth Loop Road.

“With Sprouts, Target and many other top retailers joining, we’re confident Vineyard Towne Center will be a best-in-class shopping and dining destination for many years to come,” stated Jeff Axtell, executive vice president of development for Vestar, in the release.

Vestar stated in its press release that Phase 1 of the open-air center was 90% pre-leased. It will include Chunk Cookies, Cinnaholic, Dentists of Queen Creek, European Wax Center, MOD Pizza, Mountain America Credit Union, Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop, Nekter Juice Bar, Ono Hawaiian BBQ Over Easy, and Zara Nail Bar. The developer will announce additional tenants in the coming months, the release stated.

Vineyard Towne Center is one of five new projects Vestar is developing in Arizona. Queen Creek Crossing is being built at South Ellsworth Road and East Fulton Parkway. The other Vestar properties under development are Verrado Marketplace and Laveen Towne Center in Phoenix, and The Shops at Lake Pleasant in Peoria.
