The city of Peoria and the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneur and Innovation Institute at ASU have partnered to run the Workforce Development Training program, providing foundational restaurant and hospitality industry training.

As the program concludes the city will be hosting a Restaurant Expo/Career Fair and is encouraging Peoria restaurants to submit to be featured.

The event will highlight seven local Peoria restaurants. Four restaurants will be highlighting "appetizer bite concepts" and three that will be highlighting "entree bite concepts."

This is an opportunity for local restaurants to showcase their business, meet fellow foodies and mingle with a group of graduates from the workforce training program.

Concepts must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 29.
