Peoria Police seek assistance in locating endangered male

Peoria Police seek the public’s help in locating Micah Swails, a 22-year-old male.

He is described as a Caucasian male, 6’2”, 165 pounds, with “moppy” neck-length light blonde hair and blue eyes. Swails was last seen wearing a light tan t-shirt and dark jeans. He walks with a slouch, so he appears shorter.

He was last seen at about 2 p.m., Jan. 4, when he left a residential facility without permission in the area of 89th and Peoria avenues. He left on foot and according to staff he has several medical and mental health conditions which require medications. He did not take his medications with him when he left, police said.

Officers have been actively looking for Swails, but have not been able to locate him. It is unclear where he may have gone.

Swails does not have a cell phone with him. Anyone who sees him is encouraged to contact the Peoria Police at 623-773-8311.
