A 35-year-old man died at the scene of a crash Friday after being struck by two vehicles near 43rd and Van Buren streets, police said.

Detectives are investigating the collision that occurred about 5 a.m. Sept. 20 when, according to preliminary information, Foster Williams was hit while he was in the westbound lanes of Van Buren.

The drivers of the vehicles remained at the scene, and police said charging decisions will be made once an accident reconstruction process is completed.
