A man accused of attacking an 81-year-old woman with a hammer in San Tan Valley has been arrested.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office alleges that 39-year-old Patrick Wolfe attacked the elderly woman near North Gary Road and West Gail Road on Saturday, Jan. 20. Wolfe is also accused of stealing a truck and trailer.

The victim is in critical condition, according to PCSO.

The truck and trailer were located by Maricopa County workers on Sunday, Jan. 21 at the San Tan Regional Park. The workers then called in PCSO.

Wolfe was arrested that same day after PCSO deputies found him in a vacant trailer nearby, stated PCSO Sheriff Mark Lamb in a Facebook post.

Wolfe was booked into the Pinal County Jail.
