One man has been arrested and is pending charges to include trafficking in stolen property after an April theft took place in Paradise Valley, officials say.

On April 22, police were dispatched to a report of a theft in the 7800 block of north Saguaro Drive.

The suspect had reportedly taken a diamond bracelet recently appraised at $367,000, police say.

Detectives followed up on the case and were able to locate and recover the bracelet, which had been sold to a local jewelry broker in Scottsdale.

Further investigation identified Peoria resident Anthony Dovilla Jr., as the suspect, police say.

On June 22, Dovilla was arrested at his home in Peoria by Paradise Valley Police. Dovilla was booked into Maricopa County jail pending charges for theft and trafficking in stolen property.
