Linda Pullinsi and Barbara Clements present “Enchanting Arizona” landscape oil paintings that show the beauty of the state in a new exhibition coming to a downtown Phoenix art gallery.

Pullinisi’s vibrant hues and intricate details capture the play of light on the mountains and the dance of colors in the sky.

“I adore being in nature and hope to evoke the profound sense of wonder I feel in my paintings,” Pullinsi shared in a press release.

She has helped children and adults express themselves creatively for more than 30 years by teaching at Scottsdale Artists’ School, Shemer Art Center, and Paradise Valley Community College.

Clements paints the splendor of the desert. She is originally from Long Island but moved to Phoenix in 1970, where she fell in love with the Western landscape.

“I have consciously chosen to paint scenes I feel to be spiritually inspiring and uplifting to the soul,” she stated.

Clements’ work has been featured in American Art Collector magazine. She is a member of The International Guild of Realism.

“Enchanting Arizona” will be on exhibition from Tuesday, Jan. 2 through Thursday, Jan. 25 at Olney Gallery at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 100 W. Roosevelt St., in downtown Phoenix. A First Friday reception takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5.

The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, and Fridays by appointment.
