Museum of the West slashes ticket prices on weekends through Sept. 1

Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West is celebrating the end of summer with its Cool Frontier’s End of Summer Western Weekends promotion.

Tickets are 50% off on weekends through Sept. 1. Also, the “Sled Dogs in America: Alaska & Beyond” exhibition by Western painter and sculptor Veryl Goodnight, is on display as is “Inner Light: The Art of Tom Gilleon.” The “Inner Light” exhibition closes Aug. 25th.

Also closing Aug. 25 is ‘Kids in Focus’ “Focus on Western Spirit” exhibition which showcases unique new perspectives of the West as seen through the eyes of talented local middle school students.

The museum will also show “A Fist Full of Dollars” Aug. 25.
