A woman from Mesa recently won $1 million playing the Million Dollar King of Cards progressive jackpot at the Gila River Resorts & Casinos Lone Butte location.
“This will allow me to help my family in so many ways, and I’m looking forward to taking more time to travel, something I’ve always dreamed of doing,” said the grandmother identified in a release as Wanda D.
“As a devoted grandmother and mother, Wanda’s first thought was for her family, and we are thrilled to see her use this opportunity to enrich their lives,” Denise Pfaff, general manager of Lone Butte, said.
