Mesa Arts Center celebrates ‘Dirty Dancing’ anniversary with concert

The Mesa Arts Center will bring Dirty Dancing in Concert to the stage on Nov. 22 during the global live-to-film tour commemorating the 35th anniversary of the movie.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Sept. 22 at mesaartscenter.com or by calling the box office at 480-644-6500.

“Audiences attending Dirty Dancing in Concert will experience the hit film in a unique and unforgettable way,” a release stated.

A complete screening of the digitally remastered film will play as a five-piece band and vocalists Shannon McEldowney and Michael D’Elia perform the songs live, in sync with the film.

An encore party follows at the arts center,  1 E. Main St., Mesa.
