Applications open until Feb. 10

Interim Chancellor Steven R. Gonzales, the Governing Board of the Maricopa County Community College District, and the Presidential Search Committee invite nominations and applications for the position of President of Phoenix College, in Phoenix, Arizona.

“We are looking for a leader, who can provide vision and guidance to our students, faculty, and employees, as they work to fulfill Phoenix College’s mission and reach strategic goals of our District,” said Gonzales. “This is a very important search for our system, and I look forward to our community’s participation and input.”

Essential for the next PC president’s success is a leadership style and presence that engages all in their best work, evoking trust because of a shared commitment to student success and governance in an environment that highly values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

To encourage a strong pool of highly qualified individuals, MCCCD has hired search consultants who will help identify and recruit talented candidates as part of the search process. The identities of candidates will remain confidential throughout the process until finalists are invited for on-campus meetings and a public forum. All confidential inquiries, expressions of interest, nominations, and applications will be directed to the search consultants.

The position is open until filled, but applications should be received by Feb. 10, for full consideration by the search committee. Do not apply via the district job portal. Nominations, applications and inquiries may be sent in complete confidence to PCPresident@academicsearch.org. Once the search committee has identified finalists for the position, community members will be invited to public forums to meet the finalists and provide input about the candidates.
