Local nonprofit Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue will host its 15th annual Corks and Collars fundraiser 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at Hunkapi Farms in Scottsdale, 12051 N. 96th Street.
Every dollar raised will be used for the medical expenses of the hundreds of labs that the organization rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes every year.
“We are extremely proud to be hosting our supporters at Corks and Collars for the 15th year in a row,” Dan Grimm, board president of DLRR, said in a press release. “We believe that it is one of the premier animal rescue events in the Valley and it is critically important in its impact on our ability to save so many labs each year.”
At Corks and Collars, guests can experience an evening of food, drinks and live music surrounded by Hunkapi Farms’ 10-acre farmland and gardens nestled in the heart of North Scottsdale. In addition, the fundraiser will feature a silent auction, raffles, grab bags, arts and crafts and other activities.
