List: Arizona colleges, schools adjusting amid COVID-19 concerns

Amid COVID-19 concerns, several Arizona universities and grade-school districts have either shifted to online instruction or canceled classes until further notice.

Here is what some school districts and colleges are doing (will be updated):

Arizona State University: In-class courses moving to online instruction starting March 16

University of Arizona: In-class courses moving to online instruction starting March 18

Northern Arizona University: In-class courses moving to online instruction starting March 23

Grand Canyon University: In-class courses moving to online instruction starting March 23

Maricopa Community Colleges: Spring break extended through March 20.  Student activities and college events postponed during this time.

Alhambra Elementary School District: Schools closed starting March 16 until further notice

Dysart Unified School District: Athletic competitions, arts performance events, and assemblies canceled through March 27

Pima Unified School District: Schools closed immediately until further notice

Kyrene School District: Schools closed immediately until further notice

Osborn School District: Schools closed starting March 16 until further notice

Tempe Elementary School District: Schools closed starting March 16 until further notice

Cartwright School District: Schools closed immediately until further notice

Madison School District: Spring Break extended through March 20 and then schools remained closed until further notice

Tempe Union High School District: Schools closed starting March 16 until further notice

Isaac School District: Schools closed March 16 with reopening planned for March 30

Litchfield Elementary School District: Schools closed starting March 16 until further notice

Phoenix Union High Schoool District: Schools closed week of week of March 16 but will be a work week for staff as district prepares for a possible long-term closure

Roosevelt School District: Schools closed starting March 16 until further notice, but plan is to only be closed one week

Gilbert Public Schools: Schools closed starting March 17 until further notice

Littleton Elementary School District: Schools closed March 16-20, more information to follow at district website

Tolleson Union High School District: Schools cancled March 16-27, along with other activities mentioned in a letter to parents/guardians

Scottsdale Unified School District: Schools closed March 16-27. Read the district's letter here

Balsz School District: Schools closed at least March 16-20

Pendergast Elementary School District: Schools closed until further notice 

Agua Fria Union High School District: Schools closed March 16-27

Buckeye Elementary School District: Extending spring break March 16-20, district will meet again during week to decide next steps

Avondale Elementary School District: Schools flower March 16-18

Dysart Unified School District: Schools closed through April 3

Mesa Public Schools: Schools closed March 16 until further notice
