LEGO franchise store to open in Chandler Dec. 9

Bricks & Minifigs, promising to be Chandler's one-stop shop to buy, sell, and trade all things LEGO, will open Saturday, Dec. 9 in the Chandler City Center, located at 2988 N. Alma School Road, Suite 1 in Chandler.

Bricks & Minifigs is the largest franchised toy store of its kind specializing in the buying, selling and trading of new and used LEGO sets, bulk bricks and minifigures, or “minifigs.” It’s the first store opened by franchisee Brandon Mansfield.

“I’m very excited to bring the Bricks & Minifigs experience to the area,” Mansfield said in a news release. “LEGO is an ageless toy that appeals not only to children, but also to parents, grandparents, and anyone who enjoys creative expression through those little plastic bricks.”

The first 200 customers through the door for the grand opening celebration Dec. 9 will receive a free customized “Bricks & Minifigs Chandler” minifig and there will be other giveaways during the day as well.

There will also be two LEGO Masters in attendance.

Bricks & Minifigs was founded in Portland, Ore. in 2009 and now operates more than 50 franchised stores in North America and Canada with more stores slated to open later this year.
