Laura Lucky named one of Scottsdale's '40 Under 40' Realtors

The Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors has identified Laura Lucky as one of its 2015 “40 under 40” award recipients. Laura LuckyLaura Lucky The “40 under 40” awards program was designed to recognize outstanding Realtors under 40 years of age who demonstrate business success, professional leadership, community involvement and industry involvement. The inaugural class of “40 under 40” winners was chosen from over 100 nominees. “We are so pleased to name Laura Lucky one of our ’40 under 40’ winners for 2015,” said Rebecca Grossman, president and CEO of SAAR. “Laura truly exemplifies the qualities we look for with her business success and leadership.” Laura Lucky is a member of the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors and has been a licensed Realtor in Arizona since 2009 with Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty. “I’m honored to live and work in Scottsdale – one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in the world. My passion for representing my real estate clients in buying or selling Scottsdale property, makes my career a privilege, instead of simply a job,” Laura says. Laura Lucky and the other 39 recipients will be honored April 28 at an exclusive awards dinner, featuring Joel Moyes, co-owner of Realty Executives, as the keynote speaker. The event will be held at Venue8600, a new corporate event center in north Scottsdale. RE/MAX Fine Properties and Arizona HOME PLUS Home Loan Program are the presenting sponsors for the event. More information and a complete list of “40 under 40” winners can be found online at www.SAARonline.com/ypn/40under40. While real estate is in her blood, her passion for helping others is truly what drives Laura Lucky’s success. Having earned her Arizona real estate license at just 18 years old, Laura knew at a young age that joining her parents, Matt and Lisa Lucky, in the family real estate business was not simply her path of choice, but somewhat of a calling. Realizing that her appreciation of Scottsdale combined with her desire to be of service could lead to a satisfying profession, she set out to create her real estate career. “I’m privileged to work with my parents who have exceptional experience, knowledge, and success in the north Scottsdale community. I like to think I’ve been trained by The Best!” says Ms. Lucky. Shortly after obtaining her real estate license, she graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business. Ms. Lucky's proficiency in marketing has become a hallmark of The Lucky Team and continues to help drive The Luckys to higher degrees of success. In 2013, Ms. Lucky acquired her broker license and is now an associate broker at Russ Lyon | Sotheby’s International Realty. Both living and working in North Scottsdale, Ms. Lucky has close ties to her community and The Valley as a whole. In addition to helping her real estate clients, Laura takes great satisfaction in actively advocating for several Valley organizations. Her involvement with the annual GlitzGlamGive Gala supports the Arthritis Foundation. She enjoys her V-Corps volunteer work, sponsored by the Russ Lyon | Sotheby's Volunteer Organization which includes projects such as preparing meals for the underprivileged, refuse clean-up on public Arizona lands and supplying water to our city’s homeless. As a member of Christ Church of the Valley, Laura participates in the Wild Canyon Games: a nonprofit weekend event in support of, and raising funds for the Young Life Christian organization.
