The Arizona State Transportation Board on Friday may reject a construction project bid award for work at Kings Ranch Road and East Sunrise Sky Drive in Gold Canyon that is $80,000 more than the state estimate for the work.
The state estimate is $125,422 for the project approximately 280 feet north of the intersection that includes installing two new rapid rectangular flashing beacons, constructing curb and sidewalk, pavement marking and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work is 210 Calendar days, according to a state transportation document.
The recommendation on the consent agenda for the meeting is to reject all bids for the work.
The meeting at 9 a.m. Friday, July 21, will be at 181 N. Ninth St. in Show Low or can be watched by using the WebEx meeting link at aztransportationboard.gov.
