Members of the Karaoke Club of Sun City West meet for their “Karaoke Kabaret” Fridays this summer. Located in the arts and crafts building at the Beardsley center, doors open at 5 p.m. and singing starts at 6 p.m.
The club usually has one theme night a month, often tied into a holiday. Contact president Byron Brothers for more information: ByronBrothers@gmail.com or 719-291-0379.
The club is open to members and accompanied guests. Sun City West residents may visit three times before becoming members. Annual membership is $10 and the nightly singing fee for members is $2 and $3 for singing guests. Listening is free. Cups and ice are provided. Membership forms are available Friday evenings or at karaoke.scwclubs.com.
Members may also make appointments to practice one of the 260,000-plus songs on the club’s database, or to load their personal discs into the club’s system.
