Hunter: Sun City West recall committee has not answered questions

The many opinions related to the upcoming election related to the recall of three Recreation Centers of Sun City West governing board members has raised a few questions that have not been answered properly.

First, who are the members of this committee that has posted endless support for the recall?

Secondly, what will happen if the recall is successful?

Is there a slate of member residents ready to occupy the vacancies?

Remember that governing board policy requires a notice to the community that vacancies exist and interested parties are invited to apply for review by the GB.

If no suitable applicants respond, the remaining governing board members shall consider other qualified member residents to fill the vacancies until the next June 30.

The successful applicants may be better, or they may be worse than the governing board members being recalled. Be careful what you wish for.
