The Round Up Food Truck Festival in Goodyear is fast approaching.

Called “a food truck party of epic proportions,” the annual food truck fundraiser goes from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 at Goodyear Ballpark, 1933 S. Goodyear Way.

The event is sponsored by West Valley Mavericks, an all-volunteer, nonprofit group of business and community leaders committed to supporting West Valley communities through charitable events.

The festival includes free general admission and kids’ activities, live music, and a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails in addition to the West Valley’s largest lineup of 50+ food trucks. As many as 15,000 people have attended the event in the past.

In 2022, the West Valley Mavericks gave out $518,000 to 88 local organizations, which marked the first time in the organization's 10-year history that they have cleared the half million-dollar mark in a year.

That puts the organization over $2 million in total dollars given by community partners, sponsors and volunteers since the inception of the Mavericks in 2013.
