Goodyear bank to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Fiesta Friday

October event to feature complimentary food, live music, financial education

Fiesta Friday, a celebration of Hispanic and Latinx communities' cultures, traditions and contributions, is coming to Goodyear.

FirstBank will host the event at its Spanish Banking Center and branch, at 1559 N. Litchfield Road, from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6.

The event will feature free street tacos from Gordita’s, face painting, balloon artists, a live mariachi band, and a chance to win prizes. Attendees will also have access to financial educational resources in both English and Spanish.

“We’re looking forward to bringing our customers and community together to enjoy culturally inspired food, entertainment, good company, and learn about our commitment to inclusivity,” Humphrey Shin, FirstBank market president, shared in a press release.

In 2018, FirstBank launched its full-service Spanish Banking Center in Goodyear, which offers expanded services to Spanish-speaking customers in their preferred or native language. All employees at the Spanish Banking Center, from entry-level tellers to loan officers, are fluent to better assist customers.

Fiesta Friday is open to the public.
