The Glendale Corps of the Salvation Army will host its annual civic luncheon in the West Valley this week.
Each year at the luncheon the Glendale Corps welcomes city leaders and dignitaries as well as prominent community leaders. This year’s event starts with a silent auction at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 to raise money for community projects the Corps initiated throughout the year.
The luncheon will follow at 11:45 a.m. The Glendale Corps is located at 6010 W. Northern Ave.
Opening ceremonies will include the introduction of colors by the Glendale Police Department’s Honor Guard. Community leadership organizations will be recognized including GPD and the Kiwanis Club of Glendale.
Joe Charles will also be recognized for contributions to the community.
