Glendale police are looking for two suspects tied to a game store robbery after further investigation into the incident revealed new information.

On Feb. 14 at about 1 p.m., the Glendale Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Game Stop, 4300 W. Bethany Home Road. Officers learned a male suspect went behind the sales counter, displayed a weapon and demanded a gaming console and controller from an employee. He also demanded cash from the register before fleeing, police stated.

He is described as a Hispanic male, late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 9 inches with a thin mustache and goatee.

He was wearing a red t-shirt with a white logo that appeared to have the State of Arizona flag design and the letters “ARI” on it. He was also wearing a black hat with the Phoenix Suns logo on the front.

Police provided new information stating prior to the armed robbery a woman had been acting suspicious inside the store and inquired about a game console. She was described as a lighter-skinned female, possibly Hispanic or white, late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 5 inches, with dark-colored long hair and wearing a black and white-striped dress and dark sandals. She also had a large tattoo on the bicep area of her right arm.

Glendale police later learned of an armed robbery in Phoenix on Feb. 16, which appears to be similar to the Glendale incident. In Phoenix, a man and woman entered Sally Beauty Supply near 4100 West Thunderbird Road at about 9 a.m. Police said the male suspect displayed a handgun and demanded cash while the woman stole merchandise from behind the sales counter.

The man was last seen wearing dark clothing and a dark baseball cap, possibly with an Arizona State pitchfork logo on the front. The woman was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with the word “Arizona” and the Cardinals logo on the back along with dark legging-style pants and dark sandals.
