Glendale City Council will hold a session to discuss a plethora of agenda items on Sept. 12.
Tomorrow night's session will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Civic Center, 5750 W. Glenn Dr., Glendale. Residents can also watch via a livestream.
The council will vote to recognize Sept. 14 as Latino Business Day.
The council will also hear a request to authorize the city manager to enter into an agreement with Larry H. Miller Toyota for the purchase of three vehicles for the Glendale Police Department Special Investigations Unit.
The initial term of the agreement is from the date council approves the agreement through March 16, 2024.
This council will also hear a resolution authorizing the city manager to accept a land use license from Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District.
This will be for operation, maintenance and management of the portions of the north bank of the Grand Canal needed to access the Bethany Home outfall channel from approximately 83rd Avenue to Loop 101.
If approved, SRP will allow for continued public access to the Bethany Home multi-use corridor from approximately 83rd Avenue to the Loop 101 freeway.
