Gilbert student Sushank Aragam is among the 14 winners of the AZ529 Art Contest.
Sushank is a sixth grader at Oak Tree Elementary School in Gilbert Public Schools.
State Treasurer Kimberly Yee and the AZ529 program challenged students, grades k-6, to draw their dream jobs. There were 343 entries from around the state.
The AZ 529 Plan is a higher-education savings plan from the state.
The winners were honored at the Arizona Capitol during a ceremony, March 28. Each student was awarded a certificate and giant check, representing the $529 that will be put in an AZ529 Higher Education account on their behalf.
