Posted

The town of Gilbert is offering a limited number of rebates on smart irrigation controllers as part of its water conservation efforts

Residents, homeowners associations and other Gilbert organizations are eligible for the rebates.

Qualifying households and non-residential organizations can apply for rebates to go toward the purchase price of a qualifying EPA WaterSense weather-based irrigation smart controller.

The rebates are worth up to $250 per household for residential customers and $400 for nonresidential customers.

Purchases must have been made on or after Monday, Sept. 26, to qualify for the rebate.

Gilbert also will have a free smart controller workshop from 6:30-9 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Southeast Regional Library, 775 N. Greenfield Road, for customers to learn how the controllers work. Registration is required.

Those interested in more information or seeing if they qualify can visit glbrt.is/WaterRebates.
