Genealogical society to meet

The West Valley Genealogical Society and Library will host Mike Fisch as its featured speaker 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 10 at First Presbyterian Church, 12225 N. 103rd Ave.

Mr. Fisch’s presentation is “Mining Newspaper Archives to Find Stories of Your Ancestors.” He is an active genealogy researcher and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. The society’s meeting will preceed the speaker.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
