Gene Samuel Turiano Sr. made heaven his home on March 24, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 83 years old. He was the 2nd son born to the late Louis and Margaret Turiano of Bridgeport, Ct. He grew up in a loving home with three brothers and one sister. Gene was predeceased by his wife, Barbara after 65 years of marriage. Gene moved to Arizona in 1985 and worked 17 years for UPS. Then after retiring he later worked for SOCHA as a compliance officer and a special project manager.He enjoyed helping others, playing golf, and was an avid Yankees fan. But Gene will be most remembered for his great faith in God. He was very active in his church and loved to pray for others. Gene is survived by his five children, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, a sister and brother, and several nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 27, at 10 a.m. at Bellevue Heights Church 9440 W. Hutton Dr. Sun City Az.
