Garlid leads tour of Tempe’s Clark Park improvements Sept. 9

Council Member Doreen Garlid and other city staff responsible for the project will share updates on improvements done at Clark Park in Tempe. 

The city council member and staff will take visitors on a tour of the park, seeing improvements made at the pool and community center along with public art and other park improvements like lighting and pathways, a city release detailed.

The event will take place at Clark Park Pool at 19th and Roosevelt streets on Sept. 9, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. 

Attendance is free, but space is limited to the first 60 people who RSVP. Those interested can RSVP to Madalaine McConville at Madalaine_McConville@tempe.gov or 480-826-2982. The deadline to reserve is Sept. 1.
