Fourth at the Fountain traffic notice for Fountain Hills

Street closures in effect

Posted

The Town of Fountain Hills’ Fourth at the Fountain celebration is expected to bring a lot of visitors to the Fountain Park and downtown area on July 4th and residents are reminded of potential traffic and parking concerns.

Temporary road closures will be in effect from 4 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, to allow for safe pedestrian access to the park. Saguaro Boulevard will be closed between Palisades and El Lago boulevards. There will be access between El Lago and Paul Nordin Parkway. There will be no traffic access to Saguaro Boulevard from Avenue of the Fountains or Parkview Avenue.

Public parking will be available throughout the downtown area. Parking and traffic around Fountain Park on Panorama Drive and El Lago Boulevard will be restricted due to the fireworks display setup and show.

A safety reminder for everyone to stay hydrated as temperatures are expected to exceed 110 degrees.
