The Foster Alliance (formerly Arizona Helping Hands) teamed up with M3F Fest and the Scottsdale Quarter to put on a benefit concert and toy drive Dec. 8 for foster families.
As a result of this event, the Foster Alliance raised almost $1,000 in cash donations, 1,226 toys, 91 pillows and two bikes. The event also featured favorite holiday and Disney characters, a sleigh to fill with donated gifts and giveaways.
The mission of The Foster Alliance is to support the foster care community by providing essentials to benefit children in foster care to help them thrive. As Arizona’s largest provider of essential resources for the foster community, the organization offers beds, cribs, clothing, diapers and personal care items and backpacks filled with school supplies to help children succeed in school and birthday gifts.
