Florence resident Cynthia Wilson has been recognized by Mediacom Communications as an employee who has achieved the company’s highest performance rankings this past year.
Wilson was awarded the national bronze-level award for customer service excellence in delivery of technical assistance, according to a press release.
Wilson is a senior-level customer service representative specializing in internet technical support. She has been employed by Mediacom since 2012 and was recognized during employee award ceremonies held with corporate leaders earlier this month.
The company operates a regional customer service and technical operations center in Apache Junction.
Mediacom, which is the fifth largest cable operator in the United States, annually recognizes high achievement among its national workforce of 4,000 employees. Wilson is one of 97 employees companywide to earn one of this year’s national awards. Each recipient receives a monetary bonus and other employee recognition.
